Yie-Ar Kung Fu

Yie-Ar Kung Fu is one of the most fun, and cheesy Kung-Fu games for the
C64. Although the moves are quite limited compared to today's fighting
games it is still a very fun game to play. As my friend
Tom would
say, "Its no Virtua Fighter 3". Regardless, the music and sound effects
fit the game perfectly and it ranks as my favorite C64 fighting game.

World Class Leaderboard Golf
![[World Class
Leaderboard Golf]](images/wcleader.gif)
World Class Leaderboard Golf is probably the best golf game made for the
C64. All of the courses are quite challenging and the abundance of
obstacles make this game very fun to play. The original Leaderboard Golf
had all of the courses on islands which made it a challenge not to hit the
ball into the water. World Class Leaderboard adds trees and other
obstacles to make this an even more challenging game. You can also design
your own courses to play.

4th & Inches
![[4th
& Inches]](images/4th-inch.gif)
4th & Inches is a football game released in 1987 by Accolade, the same
people that made Hardball. The game is very similar in graphic style with
Hardball and it uses some of the same music and sounds. Overall though
its a fairly good football game. I have also included a copy of the 4th &
Inches Team Construction Set.

Fetris
Fetris was released in 1992 and is a very good Tetris look-a-like. The
graphics are much better than the other Tetris games that I have played on
the C64 and the music is also very well done. If you have ever played the
Spectrum Holobyte version of Tetris you will agree that Fetris is a much
better game.

Su-Sweet
Su-Sweet was released in 1991 and is also an extremely good Columns type
game. The graphics are very well done and the music is also above
average.

The Goonies
![[The
Goonies]](images/goonies.gif)
The Goonies was released by Datasoft in 1985 and was based on the movie
of the same name. The object of the game is to reach One-eyed Willy's
pirate ship and get the treasure by going through various stages. In
each stage you must solve a sort of puzzle to get through onto the next
one. In the game you control two of the characters from the movie on
each stage, and by using both of them as a team you must get past the
obstacles. I can remember playing this game for hours and it is still
a fun game to play.

Dragon's Lair 2 - Escape from Singe's Castle
![[Dragon's
Lair 2]](images/dlair2.gif)
Dragon's Lair 2 was released in 1986 and was another game that I spent
a lot of time playing, even though it was quite difficult. To succeed in
this game you need to have good reflexes and patience. The graphics are
fairly good and the music is extremely well done by Rob Hubbard.

Burnin' Rubber
![[Burnin'
Rubber]](images/burnin.gif)
Burnin' Rubber was released in 1984 and is a game extremely similar to
Bump N Jump. The object of the game is to bump the other cars off the
road and jump in the air to avoid obstacles. You could also land on the
other cars to earn points. If you have never played this game or Bump N
Jump, I highly recommend trying it.

The Movie Monster Game
![[The Movie Monster Game]](images/mmonster.gif)
The Movie Monster game was released by Epyx in 1986 and features various
monsters that would be found in a monster movie. You can be Godzilla,
Mister Merengue (which looks alot like the Marshmallow man from
Ghostbusters), or one of the other various monsters. There are also
different objectives you can select such as escape or destroying a
landmark in places like London or New York.
